Personally, I'm very dissatisfied with it, the features on the guy's how I envisioned Eddie, but too calm. And I really hate the background but was in a rush to finish it with 0 drive in creativity or comprehension in what I was doin. Now that i look at it, it would look better with a grayish background.
i think it looks great and like i said im anxious to see how you portray Roland

Finally!
If you mean his expression doesn't fully reflect Eddie's cocky nature... I can't critisise you anyway, his eyes are magnetic. They're captivating, unbearably sad and with alive sparkles in them. It's strange, I've imagined Eddie with the same messy hair you showed here. I love it, how can I not?

Beautiful Features....incredible work!. I am with you on that face deserving a better background <wink> Maybe you could grey haze that out some and leave some original clor barely breaking through...like a totaly out of focus landscape. I would extend the sky to the entire right upper corner...Maybe that will create some kind of spark...I had a hard time on my last background myself ... I love the way you paint....

Thanks for the good feedback, but please do let me know which parts arent working together, coz I know this one's really flat compared to the Odetta one. Theres too many colors giving me a headache in this painting mainly coz I couldnt make up my mind on which colors to use. All mean critiques are now welcome
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
